Downloading Firefox

Firefox is available as a free download from the Firefox website.

To download Firefox on a Windows computer:

• Go to www.mozilla.com. 
   
• Click the Download Firefox link. 
  
   
• Select Save in the File Download dialog box. 
  
   
• Select Save in the Save As dialog box to save the setup file to your desktop. 
  
   
• Select Close in the Download complete dialog box once the download is complete. 
  
   
• Double-click the Firefox setup file on your desktop to begin the setup process.

 Although the process is similar across platforms, we concentrate on using Firefox with Microsoft Windows. Visit the Mozilla website for information about the other platforms.
